It comes after Gemma was left lost for words after she received a video of people flouting social distancing rules in a busy London tube station.

The star shared a clip of Holborn station on Twitter and expressed her confusion by writing: ‘Huh. Just been sent this of holborn station today.’

The clip shows Londoners during rush hour ignoring Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s advice to keep a two metre distance from each other.

Gemma admitted she was baffled by the video as people hurried up and down stairs and rushed off busy train carriages.

Boris discouraged people from using public transport when returning to work where possible this week and instead urged them to use cars on Sunday.

However commenters on Gemma’s clip said that the people in the video probably had no other choice than using the tube to get themselves to work.

One person said: ‘People are being told to go back to work and not use PT where possible, but what are they supposed to do if they have no choice?

They continued by questioning why measures haven’t been implemented by the station, and said: ‘The real problem here is where are the social distancing measures being taken by the station?’

Another person quizzed Gemma on why she was shocked, and said: ‘I don’t understand why you are shocked at this. If people have to go to work and can’t use a car how else are they to get there.’

While some Twitter users insisted that Gemma should ‘check her privilege’ another defended her and said: ‘She probably understands that but it’s still horrifying to see and shocking that there’s no social distancing.’
