Denise Richards says ‘communication is great’ with ex Charlie Sheen

In last week’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills episode, Denise Richards learnt that her ex-husband, Charlie Sheen, had referred to her as ‘behaving like a coward’ in court documents amid their ongoing child support battle.

But things appear to have settled for the toxic pair, with the 49-year-old actress revealing she has ‘great communication’ with her ex.

Wednesday saw Denise also spill that her new husband, Aaron Phypers, and Charlie were on good terms too.

Doing great! Denise Richards claimed on Wednesday that she and ex husband, Charlie Sheen, were on ‘great communication’ terms at the moment (pictured 1998)

‘Communication’s great with him. Aaron and I actually saw him the other day,’ she told Us Weekly.

Denise was married to the former Two And A Half Men star between 2002 and 2006. They share teenage daughters, Sam, 16, and Lola, 14.

And while the reality star frequently speaks about their toxic relationship and ongoing issues on RHOBH, she claimed on Wednesday that Charlie doesn’t watch.

‘I don’t even think he knows [what’s airing], but he knows obviously when you file something in court that it’s public. He and I have dealt with this stuff for, gosh, 14, 15 years.’

‘We try to keep [the show] separate from things, but he hasn’t even said anything other than very positive [feedback]. It’s all good.’

It comes after Denise learnt on the season 10 premiere that Charlie had called her ‘a coward’ in new court documents.

And while the beauty revealed on Wednesday that Charlie was ‘very lucky because I never took him to court,’ it wasn’t always looking that way.

Talking it out: ‘He filed and you had to like file an answer because he filed. I’m not going after child support. I did not file saying he hasn’t paid me’

‘I had to file something for his filing’ Denise told Aaron in last week’s episode.

‘He filed and you had to like file an answer because he filed. I’m not going after child support. I did not file saying he hasn’t paid me.’

She continued: ‘I wasn’t going to say a word. He’s the one that filed saying he didn’t want to pay me at all, even though he hasn’t paid me for quite some time now. So now I have a hearing set for November.

The Bold and the Beautiful star had previously claimed Charlie owed her $450,000, but always maintained she wanted to settle everything out of court for the sake of their daughters.

‘But, I do not want to go through all of that. I just don’t. ‘Cause it’s not just a one-time thing where you just show up to court,’ she shared.

‘It’s like an ongoing thing where you can have depositions, declarations from different people. And that’s something, you know, the girls are going to be able to hear.’

Denise, who said she didn’t want her daughters to end up with ‘daddy issues’ ended the scene by saying: ‘If he doesn’t want to pay child support, that’s on him. But it would be nice to not say anything negative about me with the kids that hear about it.’

The mom to adopted daughter, Eloise, eight, called going through the legal system ‘such a toxic road’ that ‘brings up so much anxiety,’ on Wednesday.

And perhaps Denise’s new CBD line, CB Me Beauty,  has helped calm her down and lower her stress and anxiety levels.

The Blue Mountain State actress told Refinery29 on Wednesday that she doesn’t use any Botox or injectables to maintain her age-defying complexion, just her CBD products that also use other active ingredients such as hemp oil.

‘I don’t do Botox or injectables. I’ve tried Botox before, but really didn’t like it – I felt like someone was smashing down on my forehead,’ she shared.

‘For me, I focus on a great skincare regime. It’s something I’ve always been passionate about, so I was very excited about the opportunity to make my own line.’

Denise’s new venture features an entire skincare collection, including: a probiotic cleanser, cream-oil moisturiser, retinol serum, mineral sunscreen, neck and décolleté treatment, and eye cream.

The products have all been tested on Denise and her family members of different ages and skin types.

‘I didn’t want to just smack my name on a product and say that I used it – I wanted to make something that I actually use,’ she confirmed.

‘My sister has oily skin, so I had her try the products, and my two teenage daughters tested it, because it was important to me that they work across a range of skin types.’

Denise’s legal issues are teased to not be her only problem on this season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

She is said to have stopped filming mid-season after being accused of sleeping with former star, Brandi Glanville.

But despite the drama between the ladies, Denise revealed on Wednesday that she will be gifting each of her co-stars their own goodie bag.

‘I haven’t talk to my co-stars about my skin-care line yet, but I’m putting together goodie bags and I’m sending one to each of them,’ she confirmed.

‘All the women have beautiful skin and they’ve tried the best of the best in terms of products. I value their opinion – and I hope they like it.’
