While many beaches across southern California were closed over the weekend, Orlando Bloom managed to find one that remained open so he could enjoy a quick dip.
The 43-year-old actor was spotted on Sunday heading down to a beach north of the city with a towel wrapped around his shoulders.
The actor was also joined by a male pal on the outing in his vintage Ford truck and accompanied by his dog Mighty.

Orlando wore black swim shorts with lightening bolts and some slides as he flashed his toned torso.
The outing came just three days after he showed his support for infectious diseases expert Dr. Fauci on Thursday by wearing a hoodie emblazoned with ‘Fauci gang’.
Alongside pregnant fiancee Katy Perry, the Pirates of The Caribbean star pulled faces in a mirror selfie while wearing the matching sweaters.

The hoodies sell for $69 a pop with some of the money going to the Emergency Response Fund of the CDC Foundation.
Meanwhile, Katy has confessed she misses drinking alcoholic beverages during her pregnancy.
The singer – who is expecting a baby girl with Bloom – admitted she wished she could be sipping on a beer instead of a cup of tea.
The 35-year-old star made the comments while filming a Facebook Live video ahead of the latest episode of American Idol.

She told her fans: ‘I’m not complaining, but I can’t drink, because I’m pregnant. Some of you already have a cocktail getting ready or you have your favorite IPA.
‘Or your favorite rye whiskey or your favorite white wine or rosé or whatever your favorite drink is.
‘I mean, honestly, just Bud Light with a little lime, I’m very excited for the future when that can happen. Which will be years, probably.’
Elsewhere during the chat, Katy admitted she probably wasn’t going to be able to have a baby shower due to the coronavirus pandemic.

She continued: ‘I’m just taking it one day at a time. But I’ll be grateful. I mean, I’m grateful now, but there’s a lot going on.’
Aside from missing out on pregnancy traditions, Perry has also had to put her wedding plans with Orlando on hold as a result of the potentially deadly virus.
The couple – who got engaged on Valentine’s Day of last year – had planned to exchange vows in Japan, which Katy was ‘all set for with 150 guests,’ according to People.
Prior to Katy, the Lord Of The Rings actor was married to supermodel Miranda Kerr and the pair share nine-year-old son Flynn.
