Emma Willis and husband Matt dress up in school uniforms for online quiz… as Busted star admits he first wore his in band’s 2002 debut music video

Emma and Matt Willis injected an element of fun into lockdown on Sunday evening by dressing up as secondary school students for virtual quiz night.

The coupe are adhering to strict social distancing policies in the fight against coronavirus COVID-19 by remaining behind closed doors with their three children.

But they let their hair down as the weekend drew to a close by playing fancy dress, with Emma, 44, sporting a black and white school uniform complete with badly knotted tie as they relaxed at home.

Playing along, Busted star Matt, 36, dusted off the old uniform he famously wore in the promotional video for his band’s 2002 debut single, What I Go To School For. 

Taking to to Instagram, the musician shared a snap of the couple with his 381,000 followers and admitted they were dressed up for for a virtual quiz. 

Captioning the snap, he wrote: ‘Sunday night quiz team…! What I go to Zoom for!’

Posting on the picture-messaging platform earlier that night, Matt admitted he was inspired to give his old Busted outfit an airing because the theme of their online quiz was educational. 

Sharing a selfie with the words ‘Even though it is a real bore’ – a line from Busted’s breakout single – he wrote: ‘School theme. I think I have something I can use.’ 

The par are no stranger to fancy dress, having previously transformed into a pair of 90s ravers for another night in.

Emma took to Instagram and shared a snap of the couple in their new look, with the presenter wearing a bright orange smiley face T-shirt. 

Matt opted for a black hoodie with bright pink shorts with a multi-coloured T-shirt and a neon green necklace.

Sporting a black beanie hat, the singer put his arm around Emma as they struck a pose for the snap.

Alongside the photo, Emma wrote: ‘Fancy dress quiz night! #rave’.
