Boxing legend Amir Khan personally delivered face masks, hand sanitisers and orange juice drinks to hospitals, care homes and fire stations on Thursday.
The 33-year-old had wanted to do something to give back to frontline heroes amid the coronavirus pandemic.
He and his friends had filled a rented van with all the items and carried the supplies to each place, doing all the heavy lifting themselves.

Posting a series of videos to his Instagram account, he wrote: ‘A trip to Bolton hospital with “amirkhanfoundation “wbccares to give face masks, sanitisers and drinks.
‘Keep up the good work. Well done #Bolton #Covid19.’
Amir made sure he was safe for the outing, wearing a mask and gloves and posing for pictures.

The day before, Amir shared a cartoon drawing of himself fighting a coronavirus-themed figure in the ring.
He wrote: ‘Together we will knock out #corona #covid_19.’
Earlier this week, Amir’s wife Faryal admitted she is suffering with postnatal depression.
The social media star, 28, welcomed son Muhammad with husband Amir Khan nine weeks ago, shortly before the UK went into lockdown.

Now with the government stating that everyone stay home for the foreseeable, Faryal confessed she is struggling not being able to go outside as a family and socialise.
Faryal is also mother to Lamaisah, five, Alayna, 23 months, with the family isolating at their home in Bolton, Manchester.
Speaking to Metro, Faryal revealed that she also suffered postnatal depression after the birth of her first child, and although it didn’t feel ‘as bad’ this time, there is the added pressure of the coronavirus pandemic.

She mused: ‘Having a newborn baby and then knowing what’s going on in the world, all these deaths are happening, everyone struggling and people getting laid off of jobs, it was really taking a toll on me, you know?
‘I was getting really, really upset. But I just try to keep myself busy doing other things, reading books and finding time out, praying and meditating. And I try to make it go a positive way.
‘It was a bit tough when I first found out we’re going to be on a lockdown and we won’t be able to do much. It was a bit hard coping with that, but I’m getting used to it.’
