Amanda Holden, 49, finally gives in to joining TikTok as she ropes in the help of her pet pup to make her app debut

Lockdown has seen a whole slew of celebrities jump on the TikTok bandwagon to pass the time.

So, it’s no surprise to see that Amanda Holden has finally given in and become the latest star to join the craze, with the Britain’s Got Talent judge roping in the help of her pet pup to make her debut.

Amanda showcased her sense of humour, as she flaunted her salsa moves in the funny video, all while teasing her dog with its tennis ball.

Dressed down while in quarantine, Amanda appears in the short clip in a navy blue matching tracksuit.

She throws her arms up in the air, before shaking her hips to the side and bending over to shimmy at her dog, while retreating with its tennis ball in her hand and her pet pooch eagerly following, wagging its tail.

The 49-year-old made sure to share her first ever TikTok with her Instagram followers and captioned the post: ‘Finally on TikTok.’

And her video won the approval of her fellow Heart FM radio presenter and TikTok enthusiast Ashley Roberts, who commented: ‘She did it!!!!’

Throughout lockdown, Amanda has been continuing with her radio show on Heart FM, either from home or in the studio, where they’ve been adhering to social distancing guidelines.

When she’s not working, Amanda is at her Surrey home isolating with husband Chris Hughes and their two daughters Lexi, 14, and Hollie, eight.

Taking to Instagram recently, Amanda revealed that as a family, they have all been busy exercising throughout lockdown, as she believes working up a sweat is ‘good for your mind, body and soul.’

Fans are currently watching Amanda on their TV screens every Saturday night, as Britain’s Got Talent has returned to ITV during lockdown with its new series.

The show, where Amanda sits on the judging panel alongside Simon Cowell, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon, is currently airing its audition rounds that were filmed before the coronavirus pandemic really took hold and lockdown restrictions were enforced.

ITV has since confirmed that BGT’s live shows will be postponed until later in the year, due to the ongoing lockdown.
