With the 27-year-old tradie having overhauled his fitness regime and beefed up, one fan remarked on a recent Instagram picture: ‘What have you done to yourself?’

Sam cheekily replied, saying: ‘Don’t know, maybe because I’m just a big delicious chocolate bear.’
The fan added: ‘Na it’s more like it’s a swollen-looking puffy.’

Sam however told Yahoo Lifestyle that he gets a lot of negative comments online.
‘I have seen some very negative comments but it’s okay,’ Sam said.
He added about beefing up: ‘I do this for me as it makes me feel amazing.’
Sam also assured fans that he doesn’t use fake tan, telling the publication: ‘I’ve always been tan so I don’t understand why people think I look different.’

Sam looks almost unrecognisable with his dramatic new look.
He told Daily Mail Australia earlier this week that he’s on a mission to beat the ‘isolation blues’ by getting into the best shape of his life.
The tattooed reality star described the extreme lengths he was prepared to go to achieve his dream body.
‘I’m training two times a day. I have bought lots, so now I have my own gym set up at home, and other days I improvise outdoors,’ he said.
Sam hasn’t put a time limit on his fitness goals and is instead aiming to become ‘more athletic.’

Sam added: ‘I’ll reach [my goal] in a few months, it’s just for myself. I love it, so I’m just enjoying the process.’
He said his tan is due to exercising outdoors and going shirtless.
‘I love being healthy and the lifestyle so if anything, the coronavirus is pushing me to chase my goals even harder,’ he added.
