As for the 2020 season of The Block, the show’s 16th season was recently suspended due to coronavirus fears.

Last month, host Scott Cam said The Block chose to close production on the current season and send all cast, crew and tradespeople home due to COVID-19 concerns.

Scott, who co-hosts the show with Shelley Craft, also expressed his sympathy for the millions of Australians who have lost their jobs during the crisis.

‘It’s a terrible time. I’m thinking of you all and hopefully that Aussie spirit can prevail and we can get through this and come out the other side,’ he said.
