  • Olivia, 20, had been a social media influencer before the scandal broke

She had reportedly been keen to restart her gig as a social media influencer.

But the hopes of Lori Loughlin’s daughter Olivia Jade were dashed when federal prosecutors released a photo showing her on a rowing machine which is evidence in the case against her parents who have been charged in the college admission scandal.

A source told UsWeekly Tuesday that the 20-year-old was ‘really embarrassed’ by the publication of the picture and realized that if she began posting again on Instagram, ‘everyone would be shading her’ in the comments section.

Olivia and her sister Bella, 21, who also posed for a photo on an indoor rower, have been self-isolating together during the coronavirus stay at home order in Los Angeles while Loughlin and husband Mossimo Giannulli remain at their mansion.

UsWeekly’s source explained: ‘Olivia was going to go back to her parents’ home with Bella and focus on filming content and getting back to her old digital life. After the photos came out, Olivia took a step back and even postponed some online collaborations with friends.’

‘This has been a tough setback for Olivia,’ the source added.

Full House star Loughlin and Giannulli, a designer, allegedly staged their daughters’ photos as part of their efforts to get the girls into the prestigious University of Southern California on fraudulent athletic credentials.

They were arrested in March 2019 and are accused by federal prosecutors of paying $500,000 to ensure their daughters would be accepted to USC as crew recruits.

The couple has pleaded not guilty to charges including conspiracy to commit mail fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering. They are due to stand trial in October.

After they requested their case be dismissed claiming entrapment by the FBI, federal prosecutors released a trove of evidence including those photos intended to boost the girls’ college applications, e-mail exchanges and text messages by Loughlin and Giannulli.

Mossimo Giannulli sent Rick Singer, the mastermind of the college admissions scandal, an email with the photo of Olivia rowing attached to it on September 7, 2016.

Singer had emailed Loughlin and Giannulli in August saying he was creating a coxswain profile for her and requested a picture of her posing as a rowing athlete.

‘It would probably help to get a picture with her on an ERG in workout clothes like a real athlete too,’ he wrote in the e-mail.

And a copy of Olivia’s alleged resume, also released by prosecutors, portrayed her as a ‘highly talented’ athlete who had won several rowing competitions.
