Despite the government’s lockdown rules forcing the family to stay home for the weekend, she ensured that she and partner Joe Swash, 38, still threw an epic party.

The former X Factor star shared an adorable snap of Rex, who turns one on May 23, having a nap in the garden whilst clad in a bunny costume.

Captioning the sweet shot, she penned: ‘Happy first Easter pickle. Happy Easter everyone. I took this earlier when he had his morning nap because this was the ONLY way I could get a picture of him in this bunny outfit…

‘He is on the move, big time and the bunny ears are so floppy they just go over his face when I put the hood up which he does not appreciate.’

‘Obviously he didn’t just fall asleep on the grass next to some daffodils, two of which just so happened to fall into bunny’s perfectly placed hand.

‘He fell asleep on me, clinging onto bunny, so I laid them down on the grass and the rest is history. He actually clung onto that bunny in his sleep, which melted my heart…’

Turning her attention to key workers and referencing the coronavirus pandemic that has resulted in a country-wide lockdown, Stacey concluded: ‘I really hope you’re all ok…

‘Thinking of those who are working all the hours of the day, away from their families today, risking it all to keep us safe, today and everyday. We appreciate you so much. Thank you and Happy Easter key workers we love you’.
