Mark Wright SHAVES his head while in lockdown at home

He’s been adhering to the UK’s lockdown rules with wife Michelle Keegan amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

And Mark Wright went one step further during his quarantine, as he shaved his head and showed off the results via Instagram on Saturday.

The former TOWIE star, 33, took to his social media to share snaps of his new look, before challenging Olly Murs, his cousin Elliot, sports promoter Eddie Hearn and actor Mario Lopez to do the same.

Mark shared a short video before he cut off his hair as he held the clippers to his locks and shouted in anticipation, before showing of his chopped hair.

Asking fans to suggest people to be nominated, Mark said: ‘So I’ve obviously cut the barnet for quarantine life, but the question is if you’re sent a challenge during this period you have to accept it, am I right in thinking that?

‘So I’m going to challenge a couple of people to shave their nuts, not them nuts, that nut [indicating his head], though you can shave them too.

‘Stay there I’ve got a couple few people in mind, but tell me who you should think I should challenge to do this quarantine challenge.’

Returning after reading the public’s suggestions, he stipulated that everyone he named didn’t have to take part if they didn’t want to, but he felt obliged to name Olly as ‘every second someone is sending his name.’

Mark admitted: ‘I didn’t want to nominate you because I know he loves his blond barnet at the moment, but with the amount of requests I’ve just got to do it mate.’

Going  on to name his cousin Elliot because they ‘used to shave [their] heads every summer’, Mark told him: ‘Few requests for you my son, so get your barnet shaved off right now, number two.’

He then said of nominating Eddie: ‘Reason why is because I’ve had a few messages saying I should nominate him, plus he thinks he looks like my older brother, he wished, and thinks he has my hair. So Eddie get the barnet shaved right now my son.’

Expressing his opinion that ‘there’s no point’ nominating Mario, Mark told the actor that even if he ‘won’t do it’ he wanted to nominate him as ‘the people have spoke’ and wanted him to be nominated.

‘They want you to shave your head like mine, number two all over but Mario I’ll leave it with you mate, its not an official nomination, so you don’t have to do it. I know you wont touch that wig, perfect everyday.’ 

On Wednesday, Mark showed he is keeping up with his fitness routine amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic with the addition of his dog joining him during his workout.

He  uploaded a video of Michelle’s pet Chihuahua Pip sitting on his lap while he worked out his shoulders in his home gym.

Displaying his ripped physique, Mark went shirtless in the video as he lifted a pair of dumbells while Pip balanced on his lap.

Alongside the hilarious clip, he wrote: ‘Shoulder session with my sidekick. Can’t catch a break from her! Swear she wants to marry me.’

Known for his love of fitness, Mark has been keeping his legions of social media followers updated on his home workouts, sharing several of them on his Instagram page. 

Mark recently revealed that he’s thoroughly enjoying isolating with his wife Michelle amid the COVID-19 lockdown.
