‘Everyone keeps asking me about this’: Married At First Sight’s Stacey Hampton reveals the emotional story behind her HUGE stomach tattoo – and why she tries to hide it in public
Married At First Sight’s Stacey Hampton has shared the tragic story behind her rarely-seen stomach tattoo.
The 26-year-old law graduate said on Wednesday the large tattoo was a tribute to her late brother, who died just before she gave birth to her first child several years ago.
The mother-of-two rarely shows the tattoo off is because it’s ‘very sentimental’ to her.

‘Everyone keeps asking me about this. I hide my stomach tattoo and I’m getting all my little ones lasered off,’ Stacey said in a YouTube Q&A video.
‘My stomach tattoo is very sentimental. When my brother died I was pregnant with my first born. So after he was born I got a tribute on my stomach.’
She said the black and white design has her brother’s name, next to ‘forever young’.

Despite the tattoo being so big, Stacey is reluctant to show it off.
She continued: ‘I may or may not post a close-up one day, but it’s very sentimental to me. Even with bikinis I’ll wear a one-piece or put a sarong over it.’
The mum-of-two added that she is also a ‘little self-conscious’ as it’s so personal.

The only clear picture of the tattoo is in a picture taken several years ago of Stacey and two friends in bikinis by a swimming pool, which her friend shared.
Stacey has briefly flashed the inking in recent Tik Tok videos dancing at home.
On Married At First Sight, Stacey covered the tattoo up during a swimming pool scene at ex-boyfriend Michael Goonan’s house in Adelaide.
She wore a pair of his shorts, pulled high above her waist, hiding the family tribute.
