Take your time! Ex winter Love Island stars Luke Mabbott and Demi Jones are still not an official couple. Luke, 24, told his fans that he and Demi, 21, were still just ‘seeing each other’ despite Love Island concluding weeks ago

Answering a fan question on YouTube, he said: ‘Me and Demi are good, obviously this lockdown is really hard for us.

‘Obviously, we do see each other quite a bit, before that we were staying in hotels and working together and she’s spending lockdown with her family and I’m spending it with mine.

‘We do Facetime, Snapchat and talk so we are going good. We are just seeing each other at the minute, we are just seeing how things are going.

‘We haven’t had the full test on the outside world yet because of this lockdown, so we are just going to see how things go.’

Luke and Demi came third on this year’s Love Island and were last seen out together a month ago, prior to the government-enforced regulations regarding coronavirus.

The pair were at an event for clothing brand I Saw It First at their HQ in Manchester.

Luke previously said of Demi, when he was fresh out of the Love Island villa having made it to the finale, that he’d loved to have coupled up with Demi sooner.

He said: ‘Definitely, I’d have loved it to be earlier.’

Demi echoed his comments: ‘I think we came together at the right time and looking back it feels like it was meant to be.

‘It is annoying because my experience really began with Luke, so I wish it was earlier and we’d had more time. But no regrets because we are where we are now.’

Addressing plans to go official, the beauty shared: ‘We’re just at a pace that we’re really enjoying things as we are, still learning things about each other.’

The hunk agreed: ‘I think if you rush it, you ruin it, so go at your own pace. We’ve got loads of things planned, activities, skydiving…’

‘Yeah, skydiving! That’s one of the first things we want to do. We’re both quite adventurous people’, Demi added.
