‘It’s allergies!’ Married At First Sight’s Amanda Micallef and Vanessa Romito make a cringe-worthy skit about coronavirus which shows the pair have a punch-up over an errant sneeze

They failed to find love on Married At First Sight but co-stars Amanda Micallef and Vanessa Romito walked away with a great new friendship.

And while the besties are self-isolating on opposites sides of the country, they have been passing -their time by putting together skits for Instagram.

While a little awkward, it is all in the name of a good cause, reminding people to take care of their mental health and stay connected during the coronavirus pandemic.

Cringe! Married At First Sight stars Amanda Micallef and Vanessa Romito (pictured)  made an awkward skit about coronavirus they shared to Instagram on Friday. In the clip Vanessa rubs her face on her pet dog and sneezes 

In their latest video which was shared to Instagram on Friday, Vanessa is seen sitting on her couch at her home in Perth while rubbing her face over her pet dog.

The pharmacy manager dramatically sneezes several times, without covering her mouth.

The video then crosses to Amanda at her Melbourne home who pretends she’s been hit in the face by Vanessa’s sneezes.

Over acting! After Vanessa pretend to sneeze on her, Amanda (pictured)  puts on a surgical mask and pretends to throw punches at her

 She tells Vanessa off for not covering her mouth before putting on a surgical face mask and jabbing out to punch her.

‘Bro, why are you throwing punches, it’s called allergies, not everything is coronavirus,’ Vanessa says.

The pair then get serious and share an important mental health message.

 ‘Do yourself a favour and make sure during this time of isolation that you have things that can keep you occupied and a good friend you can reach out too,’ Amanda said.

‘It’s times like these it’s important to have someone you can lean on and can communicate with so you don’t feel alone,’ adds Vanessa.

As of Saturday evening, there are 5,550 cases of confirmed coronavirus in Australia, with 30 deaths.
