He has become a global phenomenon with his online P.E classes during the COVID-19 pandemic.

And Joe Wicks kept up the momentum as he donned a Spider-Man suit for his Fancy Dress Friday class on YouTube.

The Body Coach star, 33, showed he was every bit as flexible as the iconic web-slinger as he donned the red and blue Spidey suit and posed in mid-air on his book shelf.

Covering up his famous flowing chestnut locks and face with a mask, the star clung onto his shelf as he prepared to wow the nation and world once more.

Showing his dedication to the keep fit cause, Joe kept the heavy, padded suit on throughout the workout, made up of 10 different exercises of 35 seconds each.

Joe later shared  a snap of him post-workout dripping in sweat with the mask removed as he smiled for the camera after another fun exercise class.

The hunk also shared a short clip of him removing the mask and joking ‘it’s so cold under this mask isn’t it?’ while sweating.

Joe has vowed to donate ‘every single penny’ generated on his videos to NHS heroes.

Asked whether Joe thought his lessons – which have gone global – would be as huge as they have been, Joe admitted that he ‘had no idea’.

He explained: ‘I mean I’ve been really passionate about the schools work. I’ve done a lot of UK tours. I’ve visited schools.

‘I’ve done so much work and I’ve put a lot of work out on my YouTube channel to encourage schools to take part and get the kids moving, but when I announced this the other week I thought it’d be great if a few thousand schools in the UK here about it, but it’s truly gone global.

‘I’ve had international PR in New Zealand, Australia. I’ve even got an interview with Japanese TV, like this really has gone global and that’s because everybody’s sharing it and everyone’s so supportive and passionate because they want their kids exercising during this time.’

Joe has recently featured workouts to music, explaining that major stars from the world of pop have been in touch to give him permission to use their tunes.

‘Some people are saying ‘oh we’d love some music’ but you can’t just play people’s music without the rights so I contacted Dua Lipa and George Ezra’s family – his mum is actually a teacher in a school and she heard me say I wish I had music.

‘I’ve had every single record label you can think of, Calvin Harris, Niall Horan, it’s been mad, saying ‘oh, you can use my music’ so it’s lovely, but I just don’t want to overdo it.

‘I want to have some days with music, some days without and that way it’s a bit of both.’

He went on: ‘I love that I’ve had parents training with their kids. That’s what I’ve really been trying to achieve. It’s trying to get kids and toddlers and parents and mums and dads all exercising together.

‘It really changes the culture of fitness within a household and that’s what I really really want to happen in the future.

‘The exercises are very basic, very simple, but we’ve also got some really silly ones like bunny hops, kangaroo jumps, Spiderman lunges so it’s making children be inventive and have an imagination and it’s making parents feel silly but it’s great.

‘I just know there’s mums and dads giggling and laughing all around the country.’

Joe sets homework on a Friday where children design their own PE session, and are told to come up with 10 exercises.

‘I had thousands of kids submit their ideas so I chose one today. This lovely girl called Amelia, from Kent, 10-years-old, so her workout she designed got taken part by half a million people. So little things like that makes it fun.’

Joe has been honest with his followers during the process of launching PE With Joe, he discussed feeling ‘stressed’ and ‘down’ while in isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic during an Instagram live on Tuesday.
