House Rules: High Stakes will see eight teams renovate the Focus Tower at Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast.
The first episode, which airs Monday on Channel Seven, will see the contestants renovate the penthouse of the high-rise apartment building.
But bookies have already found a potential winner in this year’s competition after discovering they have a major advantage over their rivals.
Who could it be? House Rules: High Stakes contestants are revealed – but one Brisbane-based couple have a HUGE advantage
Carly and Andrew – QLD
Brisbane couple Carly and Andrew are the $2.75 favourites with TAB to take this season of House Rules: High Stakes.
TAB bookies have slated the Queenslander couple for the win, having previously renovated two other properties.
Landscape foreman Andrew, 46, renovated an 1970s deceased estate apartment in Marrickville and another in Greenacre, before moving to Queensland.

On their previous project, they lowered ceiling height, removed walls to create open plan living and completed a full bathroom renovation.
‘We started off desperately in love, by the end of that building, hopefully we’re still married,’ Carly joked in a House Rules teaser.
Tamara and Rhys – QLD
Opposites attract: Fellow Brisbanites Tamara, 28, and Rhys, 29, have very different approaches to tackling a project, but they believe their opposite natures will be an advantage.

Lawyer Tamara will tell people exactly what she’s thinking, while fitness professional Rhys prefers to be ‘nice’, even when he doesn’t like the person.
But bookies appear to disagree, placing them at the halfway mark of odds at $5.
