Aaron Carter’s injuries were on display while he took care of chores outside of his Lancaster, California house on Wednesday.
The shirtless Aaron’s Party singer, 32, was seen with deep scratches and bruising on his arms just three days after his then girlfriend Melanie Martin was arrested for felony domestic abuse.
Shortly after the incident the pair unfollowed each other on Instagram, almost surely signaling they had split.

Though there seems to be plenty on his plate right now, Aaron looked focused on the task at hand.
His face looked serious as he rolled out a pair of trash cans, dressed down in just cut-off shorts and going sans shoes as well.
On his arm, you could see a deep scratch surrounded by a bruise.
As he turned his head and walked back inside, the large ‘Melanie’ tattoo above his eyebrow was hard to miss.

Things between Aaron and Melanie reportedly got physical on Sunday night around 11pm, prompting a visit from the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department, according to TMZ.
Marks on Aaron’s arms – which he also shared images of online – appeared to be from Melanie, so she was taken into custody.
As of Monday the social media personality was still in custody and being held on a $50,000 bail, according to the site.
Before their blow out fight, Carter and Martin seemed absolutely inseparable.

In addition to tattooing her name on his face, the That’s How I Beat Shaq singer the couple showed off a serious ring shopping session earlier this month, suggesting Aaron was preparing to pop the question.
But on Twitter, Aaron seemed to confirm the relationship of four-months was over as he made serious accusations against his ex. He claimed that she broke her dog’s leg in addition to assaulting him.
Responding to a flood of posts from both fans and haters, the younger brother of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter wrote: ‘I’m not in jail for felony assault with animal control looking for my dog because she broke its leg and didn’t take it to the hospital.’
He also accused his ex of ‘harassing him’ after previous splits.
Reflecting on the situation in a later tweet, Aaron wrote: ‘You don’t have to wait for someone to treat you bad repeatedly. All it takes is once, and if they get away with it that once, if they know they can treat you like that, then it sets the pattern for the future.’

Aaron had a challenging year which began with the end of his volatile relationship to artist Lina Valentina, who he also accused of domestic violence.
At one point, he sought a restraining order against his ex after she reportedly attacked him during a confrontation, but the order was dismissed soon after.
In November, he was mysteriously hospitalized after traveling 2,000 miles to be by his mother Jane’s side just months after two of his siblings filed a restraining order against him claiming he made abusive comments toward their families.
His Backstreet Boys brother Nick and twin sister Angel claimed they felt in danger amid Aaron’s ‘increasingly alarming behavior’ combined with the arsenal of handguns and rifles he’s shown off on social media.
