Married At First Sight’s KC Osborne and Drew Brauer ended their relationship ‘weeks after filming their final vow ceremony’ in December, which aired on Sunday.
Daily Mail Australia can reveal that the couple called time on their romance before returning to the show to film the reunion episode in Sydney on January 15.
It is understood that Drew split from KC, both 31, for one very unexpected reason.

A friend of the pair said on Monday: ‘Once they both returned home after the show Drew basically realised they only really had a sexual connection.
‘He wanted something more meaningful and didn’t think they’d ever get that.’
The friend added that the couple have both remained ‘very private and respectful’ about their break-up and each other, and said it was ‘all very amicable’.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Channel Nine for comment.

Since filming the reunion, KC has been linked to two different cast members.
KC and Michael Goonan were pictured out together in February, with the Adelaide Ice director, 29, repeatedly hinting that they’re more than friends.
Meanwhile, Connie Crayden has claimed KC hooked up with her partner Jonethen Musulin during filming, but offered up no evidence to back this up.

During Drew and KC’s final vow ceremony the pair agreed to leave the social experiment together and have a long-distance relationship.
‘Although I’d move for love, we aren’t there yet’, said Drew, who refused to leave his home in Cairns and move to Sydney for KC.
