Rebecca Judd helps sons build den during home schooling

Rebecca Judd revealed on Monday that she will be home schooling her children at their $7.3million Melbourne mansion amid the coronavirus pandemic.

And on Friday, the wife of retired AFL legend Chris Judd, helped her twin sons Tom and Darcy, three, build a den inside their bedroom.

In adorable footage shared to her Instagram Story, the 37-year-old was seen draping a quilt and toys across two single beds, before dressing up as ‘mother shark’.

Rebecca was dressed down for the occasion in a grey sweater and trackpants, and tied her brunette locks into a topknot. 

In a fast-forward clip, the mother-of-four draped a blue quilt over Tom and Darcy’s single beds, and helped them place a number of toy sharks on top, creating a den.

Enjoying the quality time together, Rebecca later shared a photo of herself dressed as ‘mother shark’ – sporting a blue shark hat.

Victorian schools shut down on Tuesday amid growing fears that children could spread coronavirus to older, more vulnerable Australians.  

On Monday, Rebecca documented their first day of home schooling on Instagram.

One photo showed her eldest son, Oscar, eight, taking an online class with his iPad while sitting at a marble table overlooking the tennis court.

Another video showed her six-year-old daughter, Billie, saying ‘Hi!’ to her classmates while speaking via a conference call on her tablet.

‘Home schooling. Dialling in!’ Rebecca said in the footage, which also showed off a luxury living space featuring a marble fireplace and abstract painting.

The Postcards presenter also uploaded a picture of Darcy with an ice pack on his leg after injuring himself playing with Duplo, a larger form of Lego for younger children.

Coronavirus has shut down schools in Victoria, while in New South Wales, parents have the option of keeping their children in schools.

As of Friday, there are 3,050 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Australia, resulting in 13 deaths.

In Victoria, there are 574 confirmed cases and three deaths.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a respiratory illness accompanied by fever, coughing, sore throat, shortness of breath and fatigue. It can produce pneumonia.
