Brendan Fevola shares homeschooling tips during self-isolation

Like many people, Brendan Fevola is in isolation with his children. 

But the former AFL star has found a novel way to keep his daughters Leni, Lulu and baby Tobi busy and well behaved while homeschooling them.

The 39-year-old shared an Instagram photo on Tuesday, showing a list of a chores and a bunch of snacks. 

The list includes tasks for the girls, like cleaning their room, doing some exercise, reading and washing dishes. 

The payment for these tasks was generous – $20 for cleaning their room, $50 for exercise and $20 for thirty minutes reading. 

In exchange for the payment, the girls can buy chocolates, chips and others snacks from the nearby shelf. 

But the prices are steep – $50 for popcorn, $25 for a snack sized bag of chips and a whopping $100 for ice cream.  

There is a twist however – the payments are not in cash but in Monopoly money, making the whole task a fun game. 

Brendan captioned the photo:  ‘Best parent advice I’ve seen so far. Trying this with my kids see how we all go have a crack’. 

Brendan also shared a video to Instagram on Monday showing his young daughters getting in the spirit of the game. 

While baby daughter Tobi did a handstand, Brendan encouraged her and revealed it counted as exercise. 

‘Think that is worth $50?’ he asked, and the girls agreed, appearing to be enjoying their isolation.
