Julia Morris left fans divided with her Instagram post on Saturday.

The comedian shared a short clip of herself wearing an industrial-strength face mask at her local Woolworths supermarket, amid the coronavirus pandemic.

While some followers branded the 51-year-old a ‘legend’ for making them laugh, others said it was an ‘overreaction’.

In the video, Julia wore a casual khaki ensemble and swept her brunette locks back off her face.  

The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! host also wore an industrial strength face mask, and accessorised with black headphones and her signature reading glasses.

Julia moved her head from side to side as she filmed herself perusing the aisles in the bakery section of Woolworths.

She wrote in the post’s caption: ‘When you are the ONLY one in the supermarket in a mask, and peeps (sic) are giving you the stink eye… make sure you really give them something to judge!!! Jx.’

While many followers applauded Julia for still having a laugh amid such trying times, others failed to find the humour.

‘Bit of an overreaction but okay,’ one wrote, while another said: ‘The lengths some celebrities go to not be recognised. Yet somehow it seems to draw even more attention.’

It comes after Kelly Gale shared an Instagram Story clip of herself and her actor beau Joel Kinnaman, 40, trying on face masks for size, ahead of date night. 

‘Going out tonight… and we’re figuring out which one to wear,’ the 24-year-old Victoria’s Secret model captioned the post shared earlier this month.

Meanwhile, Joel wore a white dust mask and checked out his reflection in a mirror.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a respiratory illness accompanied by fever, coughing, sore throat, shortness of breath and fatigue. It can produce pneumonia.

The spread of the disease, which began in Wuhan, China, has seen over 245,900 cases worldwide and more than 10,000 fatalities.
