Back in January, Fay revealed Cold Feet changed her life in an interview with RadioTimes magazine, she said: ‘Cold Feet did change my life, but I think it’s even more of a privilege to do it now. It’s quite easy to take life for granted in your 30s.

‘I actually left Cold Feet [in 2001] because I wanted to get married [to Australian actor Daniel Lapaine, with whom she now has two children] and have a baby and there were other jobs I was excited by. I wouldn’t make that decision now.’
