Mena Suvari and her husband Michael Hope were glimpsed chowing down on some Veggie Grill takeout in Los Angeles this week.

The 41-year-old actress and her man stopped for a bit of food while stocking up on groceries for the social distancing brought on by coronavirus.

They were apparently feeling so peckish that rather than taking the grub home, they stopped where they were and ate at a public bench.

She and her third husband were in matching black ensembles, slipping into leggings and hoodies and accessorizing with baseball caps.

Mena, a celebrity vegan, fired up her Instagram on Thursday and urged fans to consider their eating habits during the pandemic.

‘The current state of affairs has also caused us to focus and address our health, as we question our own mortality. And this is a beautiful thing!’ she argued.

‘We must make the connection that, yes, we are simply energy, and therefore we are what we eat. All is but vibration. Now, I know the quickest argument that comes to mind is, “it’s too expensive to be vegan, to eat healthy, yada yada…”‘ she wrote.

‘But, as with anything, it takes some adapting and getting used to and learning how to mix and match and therefore become resourceful. Because the truth is, it’s really not. There are many many options anywhere out there in many many ways to make the HEALTHIER choice,’ Mena told her fans.

‘And we must be vigilant. Our soil is poor, our water and air are contaminated. So, we must work to take care of our temples as much as we can with what we eat, supplements we take, and even the company we keep. MIND BODY SPIRIT,’ said she.

‘This is an opportunity to get to know yourself more, to ask the questions on how you can improve your mind, body, and spirit in moving forward. We will always continue to progress, and we will find ourselves out of this scare, one day, but what changes will you have incorporated?’ Mena asked.

‘What new connections will you have made? How will you live this new life? We can use this time to work on the one thing that we can, as much as possible, “control”, our well-being. I wish you, all, happy and healthy!’

Mena and Michael, who met filming a Hallmark movie in 2016, married him clandestinely in 2018 and announced the wedding that October.

‘It was very intimate. It was very beautiful. I had my closest friends with me. It was very meaningful,’ she gushed to Us Weekly of her nuptials.

‘After all these years, sort of having ups and downs, it’s very nice just being settled, especially at this point in my life.’
