Married At First Sight SPOILER: The moment Connie Crayden leaves Jonethen Musulin

Married At First Sight EXCLUSIVE: The moment Connie Crayden DUMPS Jonethen Musulin as she packs her bags without even saying goodbye

Married At First Sight’s Connie Crayden said at Wednesday’s commitment ceremony that she wanted to see her relationship with Jonethen Musulin ‘through to the end’.

But it looks like the troubled couple didn’t make it to the final vows, with photos taken on November 28 showing the moment Connie abandoned the experiment.

The marine biology student fled their apartment and Sydney’s CBD in the second-to-last week of production last year, without even saying goodbye to her ‘husband’.

The end? Married At First Sight’s Connie Crayden (pictured) left Sydney during the second to last week of production last year without saying goodbye to ‘husband’ Jonethen Musulin

She looked emotional while rushing out of the Skye Suites apartment complex, where all the couples were staying for the duration of filming.

She struggled across the road with two suitcases and a rucksack while hailing a taxi, before producers and a camera crew caught up with her.

Connie then spent several minutes discussing her exit on camera.

She eventually loaded her luggage into a taxi and headed straight for the airport, after three months filming in Sydney with Jonethen.

A bemused Jonethen emerged from the apartment building several minutes later.

He appeared to be unaware that Connie had just left the experiment and made a panicked phone call to his assigned producer.

After several minutes on the phone, he caught a taxi to the airport with his luggage.

The couple’s exit took place before the final vows were filmed, and it seems the producers weren’t expecting it to happen so quickly.

At Wednesday’s final commitment ceremony, Jonethen announced his decision to leave Connie for a third week in a row, prompting her to break down in tears.

A visibly shaking Connie walked outside with a box of tissues as Jonethen followed behind and urged her to breathe slowly.

After regaining her composure, Connie revealed she had made a ‘very last minute decision’ to stay in the experiment until the end, leaving Jonethen stunned.

‘I’m actually speechless, to be honest. I don’t know if I haven’t been communicating properly. I don’t even know what to say,’ he confessed.

Jonethen said he felt like he’d ‘done something wrong that could have led to this decision’, after he’d told Connie the previous night he wasn’t attracted to her.

But Connie insisted she was staying in the experiment for her personal reasons because she wanted ‘to finish what [she] started’ with Jonethen.
