The Killers announce an Australian tour for November – after releasing their long-awaited single Caution

Las Vegas rock band The Killers will tour Australian in November 2020.

On Friday, the group – consisting of Brandon Flowers, Mark Stoermer and Ronnie Vannucci Jr. – announced they will take the stage for four shows Down Under.

Just hours prior, The Killers released their long-awaited single Caution from their upcoming album Imploding the Mirage.

The Killers will headline four shows, starting with Brisbane on November 11, Sydney on November 14, Perth on November 18 and Melbourne on November 21. 

The last time the band travelled to Australia was in 2018, where they performed at 10 sold-out shows around the country.

Known for hits Somebody Told Me and When You Were Young, the band delighted fans on Friday when they released their new single Caution off their upcoming sixth studio album Imploding the Mirage.

Wednesday November 11: Brisbane Entertainment Centre

Saturday November 14: Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney

Wednesday November 18: RAC Arena, Perth

Saturday November 21: AAMI Park, Melbourne 

The new song comes after the group released their stand-alone track Land Of The Free in January last year. 

Frontman Brandon Flowers, 38, told Daily Mail back in 2012 that they ‘grafted hard’ for their success.

‘We’ve always been honest about wanting success. We didn’t grow up in a cool city like New York or London,’ he said.

‘We grew up in the Nevada desert, so we have a different perspective. Despite the casinos, Las Vegas has a small-town mentality.

‘We came from nothing, and we did things our way. We grafted hard to become big,’ he added. 

Tickets for The Killers’ Imploding the Mirage Australian 2020 tour go on sale via Ticketek on Monday March 23.
