‘I was unemployed’: The Bachelor’s Sogand Mohtat says she left the show with a ‘drinking problem’ as she takes a savage swipe at Matt Agnew
The Bachelor’s Sogand Mohtat was completely blindsided when Matt Agnew sent her home on the show last year.
And on Thursday, the civil engineer, 30, revealed her experience on the show gave her a ‘drinking problem’ and resulted in her losing her job.
Sogand made the reveal on Instagram, posting a short video of herself downing a whole glass of wine on last year’s season of Bachelor.

‘Although the show left me unemployed with a slight drinking problem, it was all worth it in the end because well… swipe left to see for yourself,’ she captioned the post.
The next item in the post was a picture of last year’s Bachelor cast with suitor Matt Agnew completely scribbled over in white marker and a red cross on top.
Sogand added the hashtag ‘friendchelor’, implying that she was more grateful for the female friends she made on the show rather than her romance with Matt.
On her Instagram story, Sogand said she was going ‘back to school’ before revealing going on The Bachelor left her ‘unemployed’.

Sogand took another swipe at Matt last week during a night out with Chelsie Mcleod, who won the Bachelor but broke up with the astrophysicist in November last year.
The pair posted a seductive video of themselves licking the froth off of espresso martinis at a trendy bar in Melbourne’s South Yarra.
‘Matt’s shaking,’ Sogand captioned the post, referencing last year’s suitor.

On last year’s season of The Bachelor, Sogand scored the first kiss with astrophysicist Matt Agnew.
Despite her strong start, she was sent home and Chelsie ended up winning the whole season but the pair are still friends.
Earlier this month, Sogand said men get intimidated by her profession as a civil engineer in an interview with The Daily Telegraph.
