The 28-year-old said he had been ‘f**ked in the backside’ with his edit on the show, suggesting that key scenes were cut out to portray him in a negative light.
His mother, Mandy Manning, commented on his tell-all post, claiming that Cathy, 26, is a ‘paid actress employed by producers’ – which she has previously denied.

Josh vented on Facebook after viewers watched him appear to side with his mother as she clashed with Cathy during an awkward hometown date on Monday night.
Initially joking, Josh began: ‘What a terrible edit, f**k it I’m calling [my] mum.’
He later added: ‘F**k me dead on a Devon sandwich. [Producers] left out the [entire] lunch and I had the old hugs and kisses back [from Cathy afterwards]. MAFS [has] f**ked me in the backside. Should’ve went on Survivor. I’ll never do a TV show again.’

As a fan commented that ‘we now know they break up for good’, Mandy concluded: ‘She was a paid actress hunny, employed by producers.’

CATHY’S ACTING PAST EXPOSED
In 2014, Cathy Evans graduated from Unitec Institute of Technology in Auckland with a degree in performing arts and dreamed of making it.
She then moved to Sydney to launch an acting career, writing on Instagram that it was ‘time to take over Australia’ after having headshots taken.
The 26-year-old launched her own YouTube channel in March 2016, but it’s unclear what roles, if any, she landed before appearing on MAFS.
Last week, Cathy denied she was acting on MAFS, telling the NZ Herald: ‘I can confirm I’m not an actor. I’ve changed careers many times [since university].’

On Monday’s episode of Married At First Sight, Cathy faced off with her ‘husband’ Josh Pihlak’s mother Mandy during a hometown date in Newcastle.
Cathy felt that Josh had ‘thrown her under the bus’ as soon as the family meal began, despite reassuring her beforehand that he would support her.
The 26-year-old blonde became upset after Mandy brought up previous issues that the couple had in the experiment, with Josh failing to defend his ‘wife’.
‘I get it, that’s your son. My valid reasoning is not enough for her ’cause her son takes first priority,’ an upset Cathy said to producers afterwards.
‘And she was bringing up things that are just going to reignite feelings of anger and resentment for Josh.’
