Why Liam Hemsworth’s parents are so happy with his new girlfriend Gabriella Brooks

Hollywood actor Liam Hemsworth recently went public with his 23-year-old model girlfriend, Gabriella Brooks.

And it appears no one is more thrilled about the relationship than Liam’s parents, Leonie and Craig.

According to OK! Australia, the Hemsworths are extremely happy their 30-year-old son is dating Gabriella.

‘Liam’s family is so taken by Gabby, they think Liam has made a very solid choice,’ a source told the magazine. 

Leonie and Craig are apparently pleased their son is dating another Australian, which means he won’t be spending so much time overseas. 

‘She’s also so well spoken and just seems to have a really good head on her shoulders,’ the insider added. 

Liam and Gabriella were pictured having lunch with his parents in Byron Bay in mid-December. 

Since meeting his family, the couple have gone from strength to strength, according to a report by US Weekly on Monday.

‘He feels more at home with Gabriella than he did with Miley [Cyrus, Liam’s ex-wife],’ a source told the publication.

‘He feels like he can be his complete self without any drama.’

They added: ‘Gabriella helped Liam boost his confidence and played an encouraging role in his life after his split with Miley.

‘They are very happy together and it’s comfortable and easy.’

Liam and Miley finalised their divorce in January, after splitting in August. They had only married in December 2018, after dating on and off since they were teenagers.

Miley is now dating Australian singer-songwriter Cody Simpson.
