He previously shared the grueling work-out regime which helped sculpt his muscular build.

But Mark Wahlberg, 48, got an assistant to carry his shopping bags for him while out in Beverly Hills on Tuesday.

The actor appeared to have acquired a hefty haul of Louis Vuitton goods that proved too much for him to handle.

The Departed star also had a pair of sunglasses tucked into his collar with a firm grip on a baseball cap and a bottle of water. 

He later handed his purchases over to his assistant to free up his hands to take a phone call as he left the store.   

The outing comes after Mark recently revealed that he had years of laser surgery to remove tattoos he had acquired as a youngster.

He told James Corden on The Late Late Show: ‘I had like, eight or nine, but all the way around my neck, my stomach, my arms, my back, my leg…

‘It took me five years to get the tattoos removed. And it’s dreadfully painful.’

The muscle man also added that he had tried to warn Post Malone about getting too much ink after the pair co-starred in Netflix crime film Spenser Confidential. 

Mark continued: ‘He says what every kid says – what I said when I got my tattoos. “Oh no, no, no, they all have meaning. I’m going to keep them forever.”

‘But then you realise, I’m pushing 40, I’ve gotta do something about this.’
