NONE of Married At First Sight bride Elizabeth Sobinoff’s former co-stars supporting her return

Revealed: Why NONE of the Married At First Sight brides from last year are publicly supporting Elizabeth Sobinoff’s return to the show

Elizabeth Sobinoff’s former Married At First Sight co-stars have been less than enthusiastic with her return to the franchise this week.

While plenty of fans have thrown their support behind the unlucky-in-love brunette, the likes of Sam Ball and Cyrell Paule have both expressed their disapproval.

Sam, who ‘married’ Elizabeth last season, took a subtle swipe at her via Instagram on Saturday, just two days before her big return to the show.

Sam said: ‘Good on her if that’s what she wants to do to find love. Everyone that’s been in the experiment [before] knows how set up [it is], and what goes on behind the scenes. I wouldn’t do it again.

‘Would I meet up with Lizzie and hang out? No, I wouldn’t. I don’t think we share the same interests.

‘There’s things that happened and that were in her control after the show, that she didn’t have to do or comment on, which she did.’

Sam had infamously fat shamed Elizabeth on their wedding day by saying he ‘didn’t usually date girls her size’, before later cheating on her with another bride.

Just hours before Elizabeth’s wedding aired on Monday night, Cyrell also criticised her former friend in an interview with WHO magazine.

‘The intruders come in soon. I hope that they make it interesting, but I’m very doubtful. I have seen who is coming up and they don’t look that exciting,’ she said, clearly taking a swipe at Elizabeth.

Cyrell and Elizabeth had a very public falling out last year over a $3,000 nightclub appearance deal in Darwin.

‘She wasn’t happy with me getting all the club appearance gigs and that’s why the jealousy started. It’s just really pathetic and immature,’ Cyrell said at the time.

Speaking to NW in August, Cyrell described Elizabeth as ‘toxic’ and ‘two-faced’.

Elizabeth has previously hit out at Cyrell, claiming that her relationship with Love Island star Eden Dally was just a ‘publicity stunt’.

This accusation turned out to be false, as the couple welcomed their first child together last month.

Intriguingly, none of Elizabeth’s former castmates have publicly congratulated her on returning to the show this year.

Daily Mail Australia understands that Elizabeth ‘isolated herself’ from many of her co-stars after last year’s season finished airing.

She has also stayed loyal to Channel Nine while others publicly blasted the network for how they had been portrayed.

Married At First Sight continues Tuesday 7.30pm on Nine
