Miranda Lambert’s husband Brendan McLoughlin has RETIRED from NYPD and joined her security detail
Being with Miranda Lambert is a full-time job.
And her second husband Brendan McLoughlin has retired from the New York Police Department and joined her security detail.
NYPD DCPI spokeswoman Sergeant Jessica McRorie explained to Fox News: ‘His current duty status is retired.’

Miranda met Brendan in November 2018 outside Good Morning America and secretly married him two months later near Nashville.
The NYPD’s Public Information Office told Us Weekly last July: ‘Police Officer Brendan McLoughlin is on an authorized leave of absence.’
Apparently his leave culminated in his retirement earlier this month, and Fox News insiders say he is now one of her security guards at concerts.
She is touring in support of her latest album Wildcard, which bowed at number four on the Billboard 200 this past November.

Brendan was on bag-check duty at Miranda’s February 7 gig at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, an eyewitness revealed to Fox News.
This insider dished: ‘Brendan was the security guard right before you go in to meet Miranda for her meet and greet.’
However he appears to want to avoid the spotlight, as ‘Other members of the security team told fans: “No photos with Brendan.”‘
A night later she was playing Dallas where a different insider gabbed: ‘Brendan was one of the security guys checking fans and when it was your turn it was actually Brendan asking if fans had anything they wanted Miranda to sign. Brendan was overheard telling one fan: “Have her sign your boot!”‘

Miranda’s first husband was her fellow country star Blake Shelton, whom she married in 2011 and divorced in 2015.
Late last year she told People that the fanfare around her first marriage influenced her decision to be more tight-lipped about the second one.
‘I was married before, and it was a huge wedding and everything was very public. So was my divorce,’ said the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend singer.
‘I learned then that it’s not for everybody else. This is my actual life. With Brendan, I made it a point to keep it as private as I could for as long as I could.’
