Rail chaos after ‘man climbs onto train roof and is killed by overhead power cables’ triggering closure of three platforms at Norwich Station
A man has died after climbing onto the roof of a train and being struck by live overhead wires.
Norwich Station was closed in the early hours of this morning after the man was seen scaling the roof of a train and being hit by power cables above.
Emergency services are still at the scene and British Transport Police have confirmed somebody has died.
Rail disruption is expected until 11am this morning across routes in the south and east of England.
