Nicole Kidman was one of the many Aussies celebrating Logan Martin’s historic win at the Tokyo Olympics on Sunday.

In a post on Instagram on Monday, the 54-year-old actress paid tribute to the BMX rider, sharing a photo of herself in a vintage T-shirt from her 1983 film, BMX Bandits.

‘Congratulations from this BMX Bandit to @LoganMartinBMX for winning the first ever Olympic Gold Medal for #FreestyleBMX!’ she captioned the post.

Nicole flashed a thumbs-up sign while wearing a white T-shirt with the BMX Bandits artwork printed on the front.

Despite tagging Logan, 27, in the post, the Olympian is yet to respond to his famous fan.  

Nicole made her film debut in BMX Bandits when she was just 16, before going on to find global fame in Hollywood.

The film tells the story of a group of teens who in addition to performing tricks on their BMX bikes, find themselves embroiled with a gang of criminals. 

Meanwhile, Logan became Australia’s first BMX freestyle gold medallist.

The excitable athlete took to Instagram shortly after his historic Olympic win on Sunday.
