MAFS: Patrick Dwyer and Belinda Vickers split after nine months together

Married At First Sight golden couple Patrick Dwyer and Belinda Vickers have split, nine months after meeting at the altar.

Patrick, 27, confirmed the news in a statement on Monday after unfollowing his girlfriend, 29, on Instagram over the weekend.

‘We would like to address the rumours of our split and confirm we have gone our separate ways,’ he began.

‘We have enjoyed a relationship together for over nine months; however, we do not want the same things in love and life,’ the F45 trainer continued.

‘We appreciate all the love and support we have received through our journey.’ 

Saleswoman Belinda shared an identical statement to her own Instagram account 

The last time the couple were seen together on Patrick’s social media was on June 9, in photos and videos showing them having a stroll in a park. 

However, he did share a romantic compilation video showing some of their sweet moments on Married At First Sight only days ago.  

Belinda’s last photo with Patrick was uploaded on May 24, and showed her boyfriend kissing her on the cheek.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Belinda Vickers and Patrick Dwyer for comment.  

Last week, the pair revealed they have been torn apart by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

In a post shared to Instagram, Patrick said he and Belinda – who recently underwent a makeover – have been temporarily separated because she’s in mandatory home quarantine following a solo trip to Sydney.

‘Bel is currently in quarantine, so I can’t see her for a while. But here’s a short cute video of our time on MAFS,’ he wrote, alongside a compilation of the couple together.
