A football fan who proudly showed off his Three Lion tattoos on Wembley Way has become a social media star after taking a tumble while singing in the stands.

The shirtless supporter was first spotted bustling through the crowds heading to the stadium on Wednesday evening in anticipation of England’s clash with Denmark.

But that was not his final appearance of the night as just a few hours later he resurfaced in a video filmed in the stands.

In the clip, the unnamed man - who was still shirtless - had joined a rousing rendition of Freed From Desire as he waved his arms wildly in the air.

However, the excitement proved a little too much as the supporter lost his balance and tumbled down into another row of seats with a thud

In the clip, the unnamed man – who was still shirtless – had joined a rousing rendition of Freed From Desire as he waved his arms wildly in the air.

However, the excitement proved a little too much as the supporter lost his balance and tumbled down into the row of seats in front of him with a thud.

One of his fellow fans, who was behind the camera, repeatedly shrieked ‘he’s gone’.

The man seemed unfazed however and, although he did not immediately jump back up to his feet, rejoined the chorus and swung his shirt around his head.

The clip, which has already been viewed more than 1.8 million times, was posted to Twitter last night alongside a caption that read: ‘I’m WEEING #EURO2020 #ENGDEN.’

Fans had good reason to celebrate with England now just one game from football glory following their 2-1 victory over Denmark after Harry Kane’s extra-time penalty-kick secured the Three Lions’ place in Sunday’s Euro 2020 final against Italy.

England’s nerve-racking game against the Danes went into extra time after the two sides drew 1-1 after 90 minutes, with Denmark’s Mikkel Damsgaard scoring the opening goal with a long-distance free-kick before England’s Raheem Sterling pressured an own goal.

Wembley broke out into a chorus of Neil Diamond’s anthem Sweet Caroline after the final whistle blew, with 60,000 spectators including Prince William, Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his wife Carrie, and 30 million people in homes and pubs across the country celebrating.

Last night’s victory is an historic achievement for England as it seals its place in Sunday’s final against Italy – the first major tournament final the side have managed to reach since the 1966 World Cup.
