Bindi Irwin explores the ocean with her husband Chandler Powell

New parents Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell are still in a love bubble more than two months after welcoming their daughter Grace Warrior in March.

And on Wednesday, the 22-year-old wildlife conservationist shared a sweet photo to Instagram from a recent diving excursion with her husband.

The image showed the couple holding hands underwater as they went snorkelling somewhere along the Queensland coast. 

Bindi captioned the picture with a quote from the American poet Walt Whitman.

‘To me, the sea is a continual miracle; the fishes that swim, the rocks, the motion of the waves, the ships with men in them. What stranger miracles are there?’ it read.

Bindi’s latest post comes one day after she and Chandler, 24, went looking for wildlife near their home on the Sunshine Coast.   

The pair shared a gallery of photos from the trip to Instagram, which Bindi captioned, ‘Adventures with our little bug’ – a reference to their daughter.  

The couple announced Grace Warrior’s birth on March 26, just a day after she was born on the couple’s first wedding anniversary.

‘March 25, 2021. Celebrating the two loves of my life. Happy first wedding anniversary to my sweetheart husband and day of birth to our beautiful daughter,’ Bindi wrote on Instagram at the time. 

She then explained the sentimental meaning behind their daughter’s name.

‘Grace Warrior Irwin Powell. Our graceful warrior is the most beautiful light,’ she wrote.

‘Grace is named after my great-grandmother, and relatives in Chandler’s family dating back to the 1700s. Her middle names, Warrior Irwin, are a tribute to my dad and his legacy as the most incredible Wildlife Warrior. 

‘Her last name is Powell and she already has such a kind soul just like her dad. 

‘There are no words to describe the infinite amount of love in our hearts for our sweet baby girl. She chose the perfect day to be born and we feel tremendously blessed.’
