Nicky Whelan sparks speculation she’s Photoshopped her tiny waist in bikini snap

Can you tell what’s wrong with this photo? Nicky Whelan sparks speculation she’s edited her bikini snap as fans notice a bizarre detail

Nicky Whelan is known for her dedication to fitness and healthy eating.

But fans have questioned whether Photoshop was used in her latest Instagram bikini snap, after noticing a bizarre detail in the background.

The ex-Neighbours star, 40, uploaded a photo on Sunday of herself posing poolside in a white two-piece, alongside the caption: ‘The long weekend in my happy place.’

A trick of the light? Fans have questioned whether Photoshop was used in Nicky Whelan’s latest Instagram bikini snap, after noticing a bizarre detail in the background

However, eagle-eyed followers noticed that the edge of the pool bent unnaturally upwards when it reached Nicky’s waistline.

The pool tiles also belt upwards in a similar fashion.

Warped lines are a giveaway sign that a photo has been clumsily edited, often in an attempt to compress or expand certain parts of an image.

Nicky isn’t the only Australian star to face Photoshop speculation.

Sarah Roza has also been accused of doctoring her Instagram snaps – many of which show her looking unrecognisable compared to how she appeared on TV.

In March last year, the Married At First Sight star shared a photo of herself looking like a completely different person as she modelled a skintight leopard-print frock.

Sarah’s skin looked impossibly smooth, while her face resembled that of a computer-generated character – presumably due to the use of editing tools such as FaceTune.

Days after Daily Mail Australia pointed out the glaring Photoshop fail, Sarah insisted her social media photos were an accurate representation of how she looks.

According to Sarah, paparazzi photos taken around the time she was on MAFS don’t reflect her actual appearance because of the inner struggles she was going through.

Sarah said she looks ‘barely recognisable’ these days because she’s ‘worked damn hard to leave the old me well in the past’ – not because of Facetune or Photoshop.
