Bristol Palin revealed she had a tummy tuck years ago as she shared a side of herself that her followers have yet to see.
The Dancing With The Stars alumni, 30, and daughter of Sarah Palin wanted to get ‘reel’ as she shared an Instagram post with her followers where she showed off her scar from a surgery done in 2018.
In the video she hiked down her gym shorts to display her toned tummy before revealing her scar as she teased: ‘Here’s something I don’t share. The scar from the tummy tuck I had years ago.’
The procedure would have taken place around the same time as the reality star’s split from husband Dakota Meyer in February 2018.

In the short clip, Bristol spoke about previously feeling insecure and only posting curated content before bravely feeling inclined to share a new truth about her body.
‘lets get reeeel for a sec,’ the video began as she showed off her toned abs in athletic attire while filming in the mirror.
‘I post what I want y’all to see. From decent angles, and not from insecurities and scars (visible or not),’ she continued.
‘Here’s something I don’t share. The scar from the tummy tuck I had years ago,’ she said as she showed off her faded incision on her right hip to her 571K followers.
Her camera hovered over the scar — which she later revealed came from a procedure in 2018 done in by Dr. Rose out of Corpus Christi, Texas.
And as she panned over her incision she spoke about ‘comparison’ being a thief of joy.
”Comparison can be the thief of all joy’ — don’t let this place have you comparing your own worth and stealing your joy,’ she maintained.
Palin captioned the post: ‘way 222 easy to compare ourselves on here, just a reminder not to.’

And later on her Instagram story she took time to answer fans questions about the surgery as she revealed the doctor who performed the surgery was ‘incredible.’
But the Teen Mom OG star also said that it was ‘the worst’ pain of her life despite having no regrets.
‘It was done in early 2018. I don’t regret it. But recovery was, (without a doubt) thee worst pain of my entire life,’ she revealed.
The surgery seemed to coincide with her divorce from husband of two years, Dakota Meyer.
The pair share daughter Sailor Grace, five, and Atlee Bay, four, and she also has Tripp, 12, with her ex husband Levi Johnston.

Speaking about the split on Good Morning America she said: ‘If I can show that life doesn’t end after a divorce, then I hope that people can see that and continue living and continue to chip away at life.’
And in her continued fan Q+A she spoke about the ups and downs of being a single parent, having previously confessed that she ‘didn’t know’ if marriage was in the cards for her again.
‘Best is the time I get to spend with them (I feel it makes our bond even more special.) Hardest is juggling to get everything done, and disciplining solo can also be a challenge for me,’ she revealed.
In March she revealed that she and Meyer are amicable co-parents and that the now realtor had even sold his house as she posted a photo of them as she wore a ‘World’s greatest ex-wife’ shirt.
