‘Bus W****rs’! Iconic yellow 1996 Fiat Cinquecento from the Inbetweeners TV show goes under the hammer
- Car was featured in the Inbetweeners on Channel 4 between 2008 and 2010
- It has one red door and a rude bumper sticker which remain from the comedy
- Auctioneer said passers-by have queued to take their picture with the vehicle
An iconic yellow Fiat from the Inbetweeners is set to go under the hammer – complete with a single red door and a rude bumper sticker.
The distinctive 1996 Fiat Cinquecento appeared in the popular British comedy, which aired on Channel 4 between 2008 and 2010.
It was gifted to the character Simon – played by Joe Thomas – by his parents and featured in several favourite scenes.
It eventually left the four men red-faced when they were forced to stop near a bus stop – after they called everyone in the queue ‘bus w****rs’.
The car will go under the hammer at East Bristol Auctions on May 28.

It has one red door, as depicted in the show when the passenger door was ripped off by a signpost after Jay (James Buckley) opens the door while Simon parks.
Auctioneer Andrew Scott said passers-by have queued up to take photographs with the vehicle after it emerged for sale in a specialist Entertainment Memorabilia Auction.
He said: ‘It’s a really fun piece of memorabilia.
‘It’s not the Batmobile, or the Ghostbusters’ Ecto 1, but for people who know the series – it may as well be!

‘When it arrived at our saleroom there was literally a queue of passers-by wanting their picture taken with it.
‘It’s just so British. It’s an underdog, an unloved car – yet everyone wants a piece of it. Quite remarkable for a twenty-year-old yellow Fiat!’

Despite the cars’ reputation on screen it comes in good condition with a full year’s MOT.
