Megan Gale shares sweet tribute to her son River as he celebrates his seventh birthday

Megan Gale shared a tribute to her son River as he celebrated his seventh birthday on Thursday.

The 45-year-old posted a series of photos to Instagram and wrote a sweet message to her son.

‘Seven years ago today River arrived into the world, a day I’ll never forget. It’s such a gift and a blessing to be Mama to this beautiful, kind, funny and wise old soul,’ she wrote.

‘Thank you for choosing me my darling boy,’ Megan added.

The model shared a throwback photo of herself carrying her newborn son while in a hospital bed.

She also posted another recent picture of River smiling while spending time with his family at the beach.

Megan shares her son and a daughter Rosie, two, with her partner and former AFL, Shaun Hampson. 

In November last year, the couple bought a property in Daylesford, Victoria.

The beauty took to Instagram at the time to share her excitement at the new venture with Shaun.

‘We are excited to announce that we are the proud new owners of Dollywood Daylesford,’ she wrote, sharing a slew of photos of the house.

Megan said the couple have enjoyed staying at the weekender in the past, which prompted their decision to buy it.

‘Over the past few years we have thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beautiful holiday rental property with our little family,’ she wrote, in part.

‘It has become a very special “happy place” for us, so to be able to have the opportunity to now own it, is a true blessing.’

The pair then let their followers know they would continue to rent out the property, allowing it to be a ‘restful’ place for others.
