‘We’d like another one’: Rachel Riley talks about her hopes of having another baby with husband Pasha Kovalev and how their daughter Maven ‘loves dancing’
She welcomed her first child, Maven, 14 months ago.
And Rachel Riley has spoken about her hopes of having another baby with her husband Pasha Kovalev, 41.
In an interview with Hello Magazine, Rachel, 35, talked about her desires to add to the family, parenting in lockdown and how their daughter Maven ‘loves dancing’.

Rachel said: ‘I think we’d like another one… Some of my friends had twins by accident and a few of them have got three little ones and everyone seemed to have them straight after. No one regrets it though, do they?’
The Countdown host also spoke about raising their daughter Maven throughout lockdown and expressed her sadness that she hasn’t been able to go to any baby clubs.
Rachel explained: ‘She’s very happy, she loves dancing. She’s done her first couple of tantrums last week, which at 14 months I’m like ok…it’s kind of funny.’

The television presenter added Maven is sleeping well through the nights, but has missed out on interacting with other children.
She said: ‘Maven was three months old when we went into lockdown, so she’s not socialised with other children, she’s not used to going out to a café and sitting and behaving herself or anything so it’s going to be a bit of a challenge, but parenting is a challenge isn’t it and kids are adaptable, hopefully!’
The mother-of-one recently shared her hopes of Maven being bilingual as husband Pasha talks to her ‘solely in Russian’.

Rachel said on Good Morning Britain: ‘She’s got teeth, she’s biting us, she’s all about chat chat chat!
‘Pasha is speaking to her solely in Russian and I’m speaking to her in English so we’re hoping she’ll be bilingual.’
The media personality sweetly added: ‘She’s so mobile, she’s crawling and can walk with one hand now.’
Rachel also shared that she will be teaching her daughter mathematics but joked: ‘At the moment, she can bash cups together!’
The adorable family have spent lockdown with the maths whizz’s Russian mother-in-law Galina, whose month-long visit to the UK was extended amid the pandemic.
Blonde beauty Rachel was previously married to Jamie Gilbert, whom she met while studying at Oxford university.
