Chrissy Teigen shared an embarrassing encounter with Michael Keaton on Tuesday while promoting her new online store on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The 35-year-old cookbook author remotely played a game called ‘Best Worst First’ with Jimmy who spun a wheel to determine the category for each question.
The spinner prompted Jimmy to ask Chrissy to name her ‘best’ celebrity encounter and she told about the time she took a drink away from the 69-year-old actor.

‘God, I think it was after the Golden Globes. …Oh, no. This might be the ”worst”,’ said Chrissy who wore a bright yellow dress with a boa top that bared her left shoulder.
‘I was drinking a lot and I saw somebody at the entrance holding a glass of champagne, so I just went up and I took it and I said ”thank you” and John goes, ”that was Michael Keaton”,’ Chrissy said, referencing her husband John Legend, 42.
‘It was not someone serving champagne?,’ Jimmy asked.
‘No, it was not,’ Chrissy replied with a chuckle.

‘God, I’m so embarrassed by it still, I could die… I took it, I drank it, and I left,’ she said.
Chrissy has been open about her relationship with alcohol in the past.
In a 2017 Interview with Cosmopolitan, she said: ‘I was, point blank, just drinking too much.’

‘I got used to being in hair and make-up and having a glass of wine. Then that glass of wine would carry over into me having one before the awards show… And then a bunch at the awards show.’
She continued: ‘And then I felt bad for making an a** of myself to people that I really respected.
‘And that feeling, there’s just nothing like that. You feel horrible. It’s not a good look for me, for John, for anybody.’

Chrissy and John have four-year-old daughter Luna and two-year-old son Miles together.
She recently embraced a sober lifestyle not long after she and John tragically lost their baby son Jack last September after she suffered a stillbirth.

‘I thought I had this big opportunity to be in a Red Bull commercial, but it turns out they just wanted me to be one of those girls on the beach that wear like the thick flip flops and give out Red Bulls,’ she shared.
‘So I quit my entire job to give out free Red Bulls during the U.S. Open of Surfing. And I thought it was like my big break. I was like, ”finally, I’m going to Hollywood!”,’ Chrissy said.

Jimmy asked the cookbook author if she planned on opening her own restaurant and Chrissy said she was ‘chatting about it right now’.
‘I’ve looked at some incredible spaces,’ Chrissy said as she admitted to having ideas about a sit-down, fast-casual establishment.

Chrissy also shared a funny story about accidentally insulting Katy Perry, 36, after she performed her hit song Firework in January at the inauguration celebration of President Joe Biden that ended with a massive pyrotechnics display.
She recalled telling the pop star, ‘I typically hate fireworks, but that was beautiful.’
‘She thought Firework like the song. I wanted to die. I always do that,’ Chrissy said.
