MAFS newlyweds Booka Nile and Brett Helling reveal they’ve consummated their marriage

Following a successful Post-it note task, newlyweds Booka Nile and Brett Helling have had a romantic breakthrough.

Wednesday’s episode of Married At First Sight saw the newlyweds reveal they’ve finally consummated their relationship. 

After waking up in bed together, the couple couldn’t wipe the smiles off their faces.

‘Last night, we made some progress with our physical affection,’ the 31-year-old groom gushed to producers.

‘Yeah it’s happened. It’s good,’ Brett said. ‘Yesterday’s task was good for us…’ he added.

Brett said he was happy to have waited for the timing to be right and said that it was much more romantic rather than diving straight into it.

To celebrate the occasion, his musician partner Booka decided to surprise her husband by cooking the pair breakfast.

Earlier in the episode, Booka said she was worried that her husband may not be attracted to her.

Speaking to producers, she confessesed: ‘I’m starting to wonder a little bit about whether he’s physically attracted to me or not.’

Earlier in the episode, the couple were tasked with a Post-It challenge which required them to write their likes and dislikes about each other.

To her surprise, Brett said: ‘I like that you are comfortable being yourself, and you don’t try to be anyone else. It’s very admirable .’

‘I struggled to find five things I don’t like about her,’ he told producers.

‘I’m much more excited about telling her all the positives, ’cause that’s something that’ll help create a positive relationship,’ he added.
