With the COVID-19 pandemic and social and political unrest breaking out across parts of the world, the year 2020 was a tough one to endure for many people.
For global superstar Drake, the tumultuous year had the added pain and strain of a serious knee injury and subsequent surgery in late October.
But the Canadian rapper and singer has been inspired to come back stronger than ever, and on Tuesday he gave his 74.2 million of Instagram fans and followers an encouraging update on his road to recovery.

Drake (born Aubrey Drake Graham) shared a quick video of himself working out with weights in a gym dressed in an all black sporty ensemble.
’10 weeks post op I’m grinding for recovery EVERYDAY,’ the Find Your Love star, 34, wrote across the clip.
He could be seen doing squat exercises on a small exercise bench as he held onto a sizable amount of weight with his hands.
The Toronto native kept a steady pace of going up-and-down, in an effort to strengthen that rebuilt right knee.

Don’t be deceived into thinking Drake’s only focus is on that knee, from the looks of his bulging, lean muscles he showcased in a photo posted on his Insta-Story.
He stood directly in front of the camera and dropped the classic flex pose with both arms, which showcased his toned biceps and rock-solid stomach along with a big beaming smile.
It was just about 10 weeks ago when the four-time Grammy-winner posted a clip on his Insta-Story showing his leg in a brace with what appeared to be gauze.
‘I actually want to use this post to send love and motivation to anybody else 2020 let loose on,’ he wrote alongside the image, which didn’t include a look at his face.
‘Start writing the best bounce back story NOW.’

The injury didn’t seem to be visible in the snap as he sipped on a tropical drink.
All through his physical therapy, Drake has also had to get plenty of rest, at times with the help from his three-year-old son, Adonis.
In late November, the single dad shared a photo of himself taking a catnap as he rested his head on his boy’s shoulder while snuggling in bed. He captioned the adorable photo with the crossed finger emojis, in a reference to their close bond.
With well over 170 million records sold, Drake is considered among the best-selling musical artists of his generation and beyond.
