While a third shared: ‘I completely, people should not be grouped into one homogeneous group just because of age, we are all unique and can have vulnerability at any age. Those in later life have survived life’s hurdles and trauma which make them stronger than the lot of us. Language is very powerful’.

Nadia’s words come after she stood in her underwear to share her frustration over ‘saggy’ tights and told hosiery companies to ‘sort out’ their sizing in an Instagram post shared earlier this month.

The Loose Women panellist took to social media to air her annoyance over the daily fashion struggle faced by women everywhere – and said her failed attempt to pull up her tights caused mixed emotions.

Standing in her dressing room, the TV star said to the camera: ‘I’m in my dressing room and I’m sweating, I’m struggling, I’m near crying then I’m laughing. What, what am I doing wrong?

‘Why is my crotch?’ Nadia added as she pointed to her hosiery’s gusset. ‘I don’t feel I have long legs. Is it because my legs are too wide?’

To which her camerawoman Daisy hilariously responded: ‘I think they may be child tights’.

Nadia concluded: ‘Tights company sort it out. Look I done everything, I’ve used my full strength and I can only get them to there’.

In the post’s caption, the ITV star called out tight companies once again as she branded ‘a saggy’ hosiery crotch as ‘torture’ and asked her followers to ‘rise up’ and ‘spark’ a tight ‘revolution’ in order to get correct sizing.

She penned: ‘WT[duck emoji] Anyone else HATE wearing tights ??? Daisy was being very kind ! They were NOT a child’s size they were a size 14 ?!!

‘Why do you do this to us all tights companies ??? Have you got any idea what torture a saggy crotch is ?!! Clearly NOT !! Do any of you wear tights that you can actually get over your bum with any ease and comfort ???

‘If so please tell me what they are ?!! We need to rise up girls and spark a revolution !!! NO MORE SAGGY CROTCHES !!!!! for [duck emoji] sake !!!’ (sic).

And Nadia wasn’t alone in her frustration as many of her 334,000 Instagram followers aired their negative experiences wearing tights – with one even admitting: ‘Oh blimey..we’ve all been there’ (sic).
