Nathan Buckley’s estranged wife Tania Minnici is spotted wearing her wedding ring while shopping in Melbourne a week after announcing her shock split from the AFL legend

Former AFL power couple Nathan Buckley and Tania Minnici announced their split last week after 18 years of marriage.

And on Friday, Tania kept herself distracted from the heartache by shopping at a garden centre in Melbourne.

The blonde beauty was still wearing her wedding band.

She showed off her trim figure in a sporty ensemble that consisted of a mint green tank top with navy blue shorts, white trainers and a grey jumper over her shoulders.

The former WAG completed her look with chic cat eye sunglasses and a black face mask.

She carried a large Fendi tote bag in one hand and wheeled a black shopping trolley behind her with the other.

The mother-of-two appeared to be browsing different plants that were on display.

Her trip to the garden centre comes after the former couple issued a statement via Tania’s Instagram page last week.

In the message, they publicly announced that they’d secretly separated 11 months ago.

Since their split, the pair have been co-parenting their two sons Ayce, 12, and Jett, 14, but kept the surprise breakup largely under wraps.

‘It has been a tough and challenging year for every family and for ours included,’ the statement read.

‘It is with the utmost of love and respect for each other and a true commitment to our sons, that we made a decision to separate in January.

‘We remain dedicated parents and in the interests of our boys, we ask for our family to be given the privacy that is needed.

After the Magpies lost the AFL Grand Final to Richmond in Queensland, Nathan moved out of the family home when he returned to Melbourne.

He’s reportedly now staying at an apartment in South Yarra, which is owned by his friend Paul Roberts, a TLA sports executive.
