Rachel Brosnahan reveals she’s had hat fittings but hasn’t seen a page of script for season 4 of Mrs. Maisel
She’s busy promoting her new Amazon Prime movie I’m Your Woman.
But during an interview with SiriusXM Wednesday, Rachel Brosnahan also spilled some news about the Amazon show that made her famous, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
The actress’ return as the New York housewife turned stand-up comic for a fourth season was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic but filming is now slated to get underway in January.

‘We were supposed to go back in June and obviously it wasn’t safe to do that then,’ she told host Jess Cagle.
‘But I just actually came from a wig and shoe and hat fitting. Literally just 20 minutes ago, walked in the door.’
Brosnahan, 30, continued: ‘We are in the process of getting ready to go back hopefully safely in January, and are really, really excited.
‘The hats are insane. The hats are out of control. We may have lost our minds with the hats this season.’

Apart from what hats her character will be wearing, Brosnahan says she can’t offer any other insights about what fans should expect from the new episodes.
‘I have absolutely no idea what’s happening,’ the star claimed.
‘I’m in all of these costume fittings and they’re going, ‘This is the dress for when she’s in the deli.’ And I’m like…. I haven’t seen a script. I haven’t seen anything.
‘I have no idea what’s happening this season,’ she said. ‘So I am just as excited as everyone else to find out.’

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, which co-stars Tony Shalhoub and Alex Borstein, premiered on Prime Video in March 2017.
It was an immediate critical success and won a devoted fan following.
