Married At First Sight’s Michael Brunelli exposes fitness influencers in hilarious video

Married At First Sight star Michael Brunelli has poked fun at fitness influencers in a hilarious video on Tuesday.

The 29-year-old personal trainer shared a video to Instagram, impersonating online influencers by drinking detox tea, posing in front of the mirror and buying followers.

In the footage, Michael wore a navy T-shirt and white headband as he sat in front of the screen, painted his nails and spoke on the phone.

‘Yes mum, I’m totally fitting in as a fitness influencer,’ he said.

Michael then sat on a bed and started to research: ‘Is a Brazilian butt lift expensive?’, while drinking a cup of tea.

After enjoying the detox tea, he searched ‘how to sell my own skinny tea?’ before he rushed to the bathroom.

He then discovered Instagram followers can be purchased and pulled out his credit card to finalise the payment.

After making the purchase, Michael practised posing in front of the mirror while taking photos.

Michael’s post comes after he defended his girlfriend, Martha Kalifatidis, after trolls posted nasty comments about her joining the cast of Celebrity Apprentice.

Martha, 32, was announced on Sunday as one of the 13 celebrities taking part in the Channel Nine reality show hosted by British billionaire Lord Alan Sugar.

Shortly after the line-up was revealed on social media, Michael, 29, addressed some of the trolling he’d seen directed at his partner.

He wrote: ‘I don’t normally get sucked into this stuff but the comments on this post are pure filth. They are from the saddest, lowest form of humans in Australia.’

He added: ‘Bullying someone for going on TV to RAISE MONEY for a charity. I’m done with the Internet today.’

Some of the tamer comments described Martha as ‘entitled’ and a ‘wannabe’, while one critic said they would be ‘switching to Channel Seven’.
