Rachel Brosnahan is a mother on the run in the criminal underworld in new trailer for thriller I’m Your Woman

Her new movie will have its world premiere on Thursday as the opening-night film of the virtual AFI Fest.

And Rachel Brosnahan portrays a new mother on the run through the criminal underworld in the new trailer for I’m Your Woman.

The 30-year-old actress plays a character named Jean who must flee her home with her husband, a professional thief named Eddie, after he betrays his partners.

All seems normal in Jean’s world while she makes breakfast and gets started on another ordinary day.

She’s woken up in the middle of the night and forced to flee her home under the protection of one of her husband’s work associates named Cal, played by Arinzé Kene. 

‘You’re not to talk to anyone,’ Cal told Jean before she replied: ‘I’ve never been on my own.’

Jean is taken to a remote location where Cal prepares her for a wild journey with help from his wife Terry (Marsha Stephanie Blake) and father Art (Frankie Faison.) 

‘Why did Art show me how to use a gun,’ she asked Terry to which she responded: ‘He just thought you should be prepared for what comes next.’

Cal mysteriously disappears and the women form a bond while fighting crime and finding more into Eddie’s mysterious world.

Julia Hart directed the film which is set in the ’70s and also stars James McMenamin and Marceline Hugot. 

Hart co-wrote the screenplay with Jordan Horowitz and Brosnahan served as producer with Horowitz.

I’m Your Woman begins streaming Dec. 11 on Amazon Prime Video.
