Why fans are going WILD over this photo of Jane Bunn: Australia’s favourite weather presenter is flooded with praise as she ‘makes meteorology sexy again’ in a skintight orange dress

Channel Seven weather presenter Jane Bunn has gained a huge following on social media – and it’s not just for her meteorological talents.

And the 40-year-old presenter sent her Instagram followers into a frenzy on Wednesday when she shared a stunning photo from the Seven News studio.

Jane looked very glamorous as she posed in a skintight orange frock, which drew attention to her voluptuous figure.

Jane styled her signature blonde hair in loose curls, and also opted for glossy makeup.

Proving herself to be a ray of sunshine, Jane captioned the photo: ‘Guess what? There’s only one more grey day… until the sun comes out.’

Jane was soon flooded with comments from her fans, who praised her for her bright disposition and sensational figure.

‘Do you come with the weather?’ one follower boldly asked, while another added: ‘Making meteorology sexy again. Love your weather reports.’

A third fan commented: ‘Wow, great dress.’

It comes after Jane debuted an entirely new look after she got her hair cut into a funky new style earlier this month.

‘I’m a bit excited about my new hair!’ Jane captioned the post.

‘We changed the colour and kept cutting it every few days so no one at home got freaked out by a sudden change,’ she said, adding the hashtag #TVlife.

She concluded: ‘It takes a full team to get me not looking like I just fell out of bed.’

There’s probably a contractual reason why Jane had to cut her hair gradually.

Television presenters often have clauses in their contracts stating that they can’t change their appearance overnight in case it confuses viewers.

It comes after Jane’s loyal listeners were left devastated in January when she revealed she was leaving her position at radio station 3AW.

She tweeted: ‘I’ve just been told that after 5 years delivering Melbourne’s weather on @RossAndJohn 3AW that as of now I’m no longer required…’

In a subsequent tweet, she reassured fans they could still catch her weather reports at 4pm and 6pm on Seven News in Melbourne.

Following the backlash, 3AW’s station manager Stephen Beers revealed the sacking had nothing to do with Jane herself but was simply a business decision.

‘Jane’s spot was a commercial agreement with Seven,’ Beers said. ‘Seven stopped paying so the spot ended.’

3AW is now owned by Nine Entertainment – Seven’s main commercial rival – following the Nine-Fairfax merger in late 2018.
